Bio
just some cute girl who posts nonsense for attention and affection
seattle based. single parent. self-unemployed after 20 years in big tech.
I mostly post 1 line quips that are really funny (to me), memes about being a cute trans milf, selfies, and occasional tech rambles. I subsist on puns and wordplay.
formerly @gintoxicating <transfem.social> and, like, a bunch others.

seriously considering getting the custom license plate “NO T”
feels subtle. at least to me, a girl with the subtlety of a hyperactive dog
"americans have to pay for healthcare" is an offensive simplification of our refined-through-capitalism health system
so, yes, I have to pay over $2,000 USD a month for health care
and i'm responsible for 100% of the first $3,400 of care I receive each calendar year
and then 10%-30% of everything after that
BUT once I've spent a bit over $50,000 USD on healthcare in a calendar year - the rest is free! 100% free!!
... as long as the for-profit company involved thinks the service is necessary. and that I deserve it. and the claim doesn't get processed incorrectly. and the doctor is in the small group of providers the company is partnered with. and (🧵 1/69)
i told my therapist sometimes i work through problems myself without her help and i feel bad because it’s like pirating therapy, and now we meet twice a week
does ACAB apply to the vibe police
someone brought up ma.tt mullenweg, founder of wordpress and another famous open source cry baby who thinks because it was his idea first to profit off unpaid labor he should exclusively do so
i popped over to see what his latest blog says and wow another rich white techbro being sexist and racist, cool cool cool
he also links to his nazigrokipedia page
i would stop using wordpress but i did that two decades ago (and i banned it on the hosting company i ran) because it used to be riddled with security vulnerabilities. i mean it still is, but it used to be too
got curious about the @ONLYOFFICE drama and it’s pretty funny how awful of a company onlyoffice is!
the russian owner/founder of onlyoffice did a fake open source project to extract free labor from community contributions while profiting off that unpaid labor
onlyoffice is in no way truly open source. i wouldn’t even consider it open core. many parts of the source are obfuscated or intentionally broken so you have to use their paid versions. the code is restricted through (arguably and likely unenforceable) additions on top of AGPL such as “you have to use our trademarks in any derivative work”… which would give them authority to restrict any derivatives from existence since they control licensing of their trademarks.
which hey what a coincidence that’s what they are trying to do now!! a fork, Euro-Office, are attempting to create an actual open source office suite and branched onlyoffice maintaining the AGPL license (their github goes into why they felt a branch was necessary - basically the many problematic behaviors of the russian company behind onlyoffice)
onlyoffice’s response is basically crying about being branched. yknow, a fundamental part of open source.
sorry but it’s absurd to claim to be open source and also be a little bitch about someone branching your project because it hurts your feefees and makes it harder to profit off of unpaid labor.
btw it’s pretty obvious how shit the company is just by going to the onlyoffice website. allll the hallmarks of late stage capitalism: surveillance cookies, popup ads harvesting pii, a self-obsessed old white man owner, tons of dark patterns trying to convince you self-hosting requires paying them hundreds of dollars a year.
(the last might not be misleading though, they remove functionality from the community edition over time to force paid usage. for example: they removed the ability to edit documents from mobile devices arbitrarily and without notice… but you can pay to get that functionality back!!)
great to see the Euro-Office fork push back against fake open source capitalism bullshit like onlyoffice.
rating: a++++ would rabbit hole again
my daughter told me she loved her other mom more than me so I said “love doesn’t have a magnitude” but she hasn’t taken physics yet so she got confused
dude at my cowork having a long, loud video meeting while using the “quiet space: no calls in this area” sign as a coaster just got interrupted for an impromptu etiquette lesson given by a moody tgirl
kinda wished he whined about me interrupting his meeting being rude because i had “[your bitch ass] interrupted the rest of us first” loaded up and ready to fire
you can now get a new gmail username for your existing gmail account !!!
you keep all your data and your old username as an alias in the same account (ie, you are still contactable at your old email)
(since they announced this on tdov 🏳️⚧️ and this is something a lot of trans folks can benefit from, it would have been nice to give a hat tip to us but google is not a trans friendly corpo lol)
Big news!
I'm launching a tiny Mac app 🥺🔍🤏

Unlike Spotlight, TinyStart is super fast at showing results and launching apps. It never becomes overcrowded with search results you don't need, and it lets you open URLs, perform web searches with custom search engines, and quickly open folders in Finder.
Oh and yes, I think the Emoji picker is pretty good too. It's everything the default macOS Emoji picker isn't: it's fast, it lets you insert Emojis in any text field, it isn't picky about keywords, and it learns your favorite Emojis over time.
Get TinyStart at https://tinystart.app: it's €5, you pay for it once and future updates are free!
also I made a lil' video to show you what it looks like:
get in on the ground floor of this amazing video with only 800 views
it’s about the death of being creative on the internet
