account linking like this can be especially dangerous for trans folks. sharing a link effectively gives anyone who sees that link access to what account you are on that service. your account can also be recommended to their friends and family
It’s most common in YT and Spotify, with spotify being imo most dangerous
“hey son what’s a nightcore? youtube thinks i’m interested in that and some Yuri guy. spotify wants me to be friends with someone that thinks she’s a robot. never mind im going to cancel wifi and live in the woods” (his daughter becomes a wood witch, so happy ending at least)

back to top@gintoxicating i'm opposed to a lot of stuff Mozilla has added to Firefox recently, but the copy clean link feature that tries to strip that stuff off is really nice.
