the local bookstore has a printer that spits out free short stories on thermal paper, and that is very cool

@gintoxicating Oh BART (our local train system) has those at some stations! Or at least they used to. I haven't looked to see if they're still there.
@gintoxicating @xeno Ah yeah, these are everywhere in French train stations. The ones I've seen have buttons for a 1-, 3-, and 5-minute story depending on how long you have to wait!
