so wait only algorithmic feeds are available on big mastodon servers now? idk I’m not an algorithmphobe but this sucks.
trending is censored, recommended accounts builds a bland monoculture and encourages clout chasing and is censored, and I’m guessing followed hashtags are just tiny subsets of that corpo vibe
mastodon needs to stop trying to be a global corporate social media site. that’s bluesky. they won that battle stop trying and also be glad because that battle sucks.
fedi (and mastodon as part) has strength in that it is a community of communities
heaven forbid the cishet white people see a queer in their feed

I'd HOPE that just means the JS to immediately fetch new posts instead of having to manually reload, to give the moderation at least a few seconds to catch the "worst" of it
@k1ba I don’t think that is what’s happening, I think those feeds are being disabled entirely but idk
