went to a new doctor a few days ago and pretended to be a boy really well, but I noticed the doctor narrative is four paragraphs long and doesn’t use any pronouns.
idk if that’s normal or if they picked up on something from me personally or, perhaps, the fact that I take estradiol
I currently lie to doctors for two reasons:
my legal name is still stupid and dumb, and I don’t like the sort of genderfluid vibe that creates in my head
50% of the doctors I have met after transition have immediately checked out and stopped being helpful after asking me why I could possibly take estradiol, a medicine for women (admittedly n=2 here but it takes 2-3 months to get an initial appointment for a specialist and so trial and error isn’t quick)
Anyway, #1 is both for my comfort and it helps prevent #2
