My (very good) insurance won’t cover a medicine because it’s $3000 a month… so the medicine people are giving it to me for free.

I said “oh if this is for people who can’t afford it I shouldn’t take this spot” and they said no, they don’t give out medicine for free to people who can’t afford it that doesn’t make any business sense.

Instead it’s a program for them to get insured people on their medicine (for free) so they can convince insurance to cover it.

The program is only available to people with insurance that cover similar $3000/mo drugs but not theirs.
