I mostly post 1 line quips that are really funny (to me), memes about being a cute trans milf, selfies, and occasional tech rambles like “algorithms aren’t bad, capitalism is”. I survive primarily on puns and wordplay.

I spent my first decades as a generic white boy in tech, then a year ago I signed up for my first mastodon account and discovered I am a girl!

I post about tech, trans life, post selfies, and openly talk about mental illness and pain (cw'ed)

I’m a single parent w/ a 9 yo daughter, working as a software engineer in Seattle. I also write fiction (ya and speculative) and am generally very dorky.

losing community is especially hard for trans folks, because it's the only place I was seen as me.

in real life, i know the reason i will get acknowledged as a woman is because of (appreciated!) active effort, not because they can actually see me as one.

for my family, i know *this* me is a thin layer atop decades of a me that I struggle not to detest.

when meeting new people, not experiencing the pause. ~10 seconds of silence when meeting someone new while they try to understand what i am.
