I was told it's "weird" that the first thing I do with a new game is open the Settings page to see what's poppin' in there?!!

@ginny Uh no. It might not be what most people do. But it's in no way, shape or form "weird". The only weird thing is someone saying that, that's a very odd thing to say. There are plenty of reasons why you'd want to go there straight away. If nothing else you usually need to adjust volume levels and mouse sensitivity. Lots of people also enable subtitles/closed captions if it's available, etc. etc.
@ginny how u gonna go in to a game raw tho? Like i gotta rebind keys, tweak video settings and turn off screen shake just to start
